Amazon Virtual Assistant UK: Seller Central run by a dedicated person from £5 per hour

Selling on Amazon is a daily discipline: messages answered inside the window, orders and returns handled to Amazon's standards, stock kept ahead of demand, listings kept compliant and converting. An Amazon virtual assistant is one dedicated person who runs your Seller Central every day within Amazon's policies, so your account health stays where it needs to be and your time goes to sourcing and growth. It is the Amazon version of our e-commerce virtual assistant service: UK-managed, based in our Cairo office, working your hours, from £5 per hour on the entry rate, on a rolling monthly agreement.

What They Handle

What an Amazon virtual assistant does in Seller Central

Listings and backend keywords

Creates and optimises listings: titles, bullet points, descriptions, images and backend keywords, from your product information and brand guidelines, within Amazon's rules.

Amazon

Order processing and FBA stock

Processes orders, tracks fulfilment and shipments, monitors FBA stock levels and flags reorders before a bestseller goes out of stock.

Buyer messages

Answers buyer messages inside the response window in compliant language, resolves what can be resolved and escalates what needs you.

Reviews and seller feedback

Responds to reviews and feedback using compliant language, and flags anything that could affect account health immediately.

Returns and refunds

Processes returns and refunds to Amazon's standards and your policy, and spots the patterns that reduce returns.

Amazon

Account health monitoring

Watches the performance notifications and the metrics behind account health, and flags anything that needs a decision the same day.

Different stack? These are examples. Your VA is trained on your catalogue, your policies and your Seller Central setup during onboarding, and works inside your account at the permission level each task needs.

Dedicated vs agency

A dedicated Amazon VA vs an Amazon agency

An Amazon agency sells management by the account, usually as a percentage of revenue or a monthly retainer, with a team that rotates and a playbook that is theirs. It can be right for advertising and strategy.

A dedicated VA is one named person doing the daily operations inside your own account: messages, orders, stock, listings, returns, health. They learn your catalogue and stay. You keep the strategy, the advertising decisions and the account; a UK team supervises the quality of the daily work; if the fit is wrong we replace the person and carry the handover. Many sellers run both: an agency for advertising, a VA for everything else.

Who It's For

Who an Amazon virtual assistant is built for

UK sellers running Seller Central themselves

Messages at night, returns at the weekend, stock checks between everything else. One VA takes the daily operations.

Private-label brands protecting account health

Response times, return handling and review replies all feed the metrics. A VA who works within Amazon's policies keeps them where they need to be.

Multi-channel sellers with Amazon as one of several channels

Amazon, eBay and your own store answered by one person, in one voice, with one view of stock.

Sellers with seasonal peaks

Scale hours up for Prime Day, Black Friday and Christmas and back down afterwards, without hiring.

Cost Comparison

What an Amazon virtual assistant costs in the UK

The entry rate is £5 per hour for the first 6 months on the Entry tier, 3 months on Mid, 1 month on Expert. It covers your dedicated VA's time, our office facilities in Cairo, and the supervision and management that keep quality up. After the promotion, the e-commerce rate card applies: £6.50 per hour full time on the Entry tier (160 hours a month, £1,040) or £6.80 per hour part time (80 hours a month, £544), with Mid at £7.48 and Expert at £8.13 per hour full time. Your seller account and tools stay in your name.

Why Managed

Why a managed Amazon VA beats a marketplace hire

Managed, not just placed.
Your VA is recruited, trained and supervised from our own in-house office. Not a freelancer profile, not a rotating agency team.
Replaceable without restart cost.
If the fit is wrong, we replace the VA and carry the handover. No re-recruitment, no starting from zero.
No NI, pension, or holiday overhead.
One hourly rate; the employment costs sit with us.
Language and cultural alignment with UK buyers.
Trained on your tone and Amazon's rules before they answer a buyer.
Your data stays yours.
Every VA signs an NDA and a data-processing agreement, works inside your account through password managers at the permission level the job needs, and you can revoke access at any time.
Rolling monthly.
Scale hours up or down, pause, or cancel with 30 days' notice.

FAQ

Common questions about hiring an Amazon virtual assistant

Yes. Our VAs understand Amazon's policies and work within them. They respond to messages and reviews using compliant language, process orders and returns to Amazon's standards, and flag anything that could affect your account health immediately.

Yes. Our VAs can create and optimise product listings: titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords for Amazon, as well as full product pages for Shopify. They work from your product information and brand guidelines. For SEO-optimised listings, we can pair them with keyword research tools.

Our VAs are experienced with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Etsy, WooCommerce, and Wix. If you sell on a platform not listed, let us know, as most e-commerce back-ends follow similar patterns and our VAs adapt quickly.

You can scale VA hours up during peak periods (Black Friday, Christmas, summer sales) and back down afterwards. Because we operate on rolling monthly agreements, there is no penalty for adjusting. Most clients plan their seasonal schedules a few weeks ahead so we can ensure the right cover.

All Ant Assist VAs sign NDAs and data processing agreements as part of their contracts. Access to your systems is managed via password managers (we recommend 1Password or Bitwarden) so credentials are never shared in plain text. You retain control and can revoke access instantly.

Ant Assist can replace the VA. We take responsibility for quality and will match you with a more suitable candidate rather than leaving you stuck with an underperforming arrangement.
